What to Expect

Pain treatments often fail because the root cause of the pain has been misdiagnosed or appropriate therapies are not available to the patient. Our experienced team begins with finding the true underlying cause, so we can work on effectively treating your pain. We guide our patients through the process, starting with diagnosis and the development of a care plan.

The goal of pain care is to maximize function and quality of life, and we’ve seen that most patients can get pain relief when they have an accurate diagnosis. We utilize therapies with  precision image guidance. Our treatments focus on restoring or augmenting a natural healing response with the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP), stem cell therapy (bone marrow concentrate) and/or the Discseel® Procedure.

When necessary, referrals for further conservative therapies or surgery may be made. We treat most painful conditions, including back pain, musculoskeletal pain, and joint pain.

Get Started

Step One Required Information

Personalized pain care starts with getting to know you and understanding your unique condition. Your first contact will be with a patient liaison who will be your contact and answer questions.

Prior to your appointment, your patient liaison will assist with acquiring any needed test results relating to your pain problem. We will likely need a recent  MRI and may need records of your workup by prior providers evaluating your issue, including consults, lab work, ultrasounds, x-rays and CTs.  We may request that your primary care provider order necessary imaging or testing to complete your clinical picture.

Although it’s not always possible to have every detail in place, arriving well-prepared is the first step in taking charge of your pain.

Step Two Consultation Appointment

After review of the requested records and imaging, a patient liaison  will call you to schedule either initial consultation appointment or a consultation and same day procedure appointment. When you come for your visit, be prepared to spend at least 90 minutes at our office.

Please arrive 60 minutes before your scheduled consultation and procedure. It’s preferred that you send the paperwork to the office ahead of your visit.

If you are scheduled for a consultation only, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.

The pain questionnaire assists the provider in assessing your pain needs. Please take your time to fill out the questionnaire completely and accurately. It is very detailed because we need  a clear picture of your condition and history.
